Morphology:
Stem: Ø 2–3 mm, 5–10 cm long, uniform, tubular (hollow), without partial veil.
Cap: Ø 1–3 cm, hemispherical when young, flattening with age, often wrinkled. Light brown in the center when young, beige to grey when mature.
Gills: adnexal, relatively far apart, thin, greyish-black when mature.
Spores: dark violet to black, 10–12 × 7–9 µm, lemon-shaped, smooth. Basidia two-spored.
